La Fnac and HMY: working together for more than 10 years!
HMY and La Fnac collaborated for the first time in 2005: the point of sale located in Sainte Geneviève des Bois was the first of many. The retailer, specialised in leisure and technologies, entrusted HMY with its store fittings: shelving, welcome desk and information desks. They evolved the store concept together. The retailer wanted a more convenience-like concept, while keeping La Fnac’s identity. In order to satisfy La Fnac’s needs, HMY developed a specific shelving range for each product sector, with low white furniture in aisles: multimedia, cards, and culture.
La Fnac: an innovative retailer
Facing increased competition from the Internet, La Fnac chose innovation and diversification. 2015 was the year of the expansion of a new concept named Fnac Connect, dedicated to connected devices and telephony. This concept has been deployed either in dedicated points of sales or in specific shop-in-shops.
HMY and La Fnac: beyond the borders
HMY has also accompanied the retailer in the worldwide deployment of its concept. A point of sale will soon be installed in Belgium. The technical design office, production, supply chain and installation teams are just some of the many departments who successfully contributed to the La Fnac projects.
